How to Dry Clean at Home

Many people opt to dry clean at home because they cannot afford to pay others to dry clean their delicate clothes, or because they do not trust others to do it properly. But when you opt to do it at home, you need to understand the process so as to get the best results. The first step is to always look for the label on the article of clothing to be cleaned, and look for the care instructions emblazoned on the label.
If you own or have owned cats as pets you probably have at one time or another had a problem with cat urine on your carpet. When this occurs, the urine soaks into the fibers of the carpet and can also soak down to the floor below the carpet. Once this happens, the cat knows where he went before because of the odor and could continue to urinate in the same place, over and over.
Pet stain removal is one of the most annoying problems homeowners have with their carpets. Many times, professional carpet cleaners just steam clean the carpet without paying any special attention to the pet stained areas. This will not prove to be a viable solution because pet stains usually affect the carpet backing and pad in addition to the surface of the carpet. Select a carpet cleaner that uses a subsurface extraction device such as the Water Claw. Not only are these devices effective at removing the odor and the stain that your pet left, they also are quite cost effective because the technician does not have to peel back the carpet and clean the pad individually.
