People have been taught to or thought of the idea to bury valuables since the beginning of time. Small hidden safes have become popular over the years and their uses have varied widely. This is not a new idea, but the techniques and tools have dramatically changed.
Hotmelt adhesives are thermoplastic materials which get melted by heat so they can be applied as an adhesive. Hot melt adhesives are applied by hand held glue guns onto a surface which is intended to be bonded with another surface. They are a popular choice for industrial applications due to them being economical; having an extensive shelf-life; being solvent free and non-toxic; and forming an instant bond within a minute.
When building up a survival cache always keep in mind the original purpose of the cache in the first place. Some people stock up on food and other household items, but money is the most common item. Money is compact and easy to hide but paper money is not the best choice because of its durability and a few bank bags full of quarters is impractical and hard to handle.
